There it goes....

Have been thinking of blogging after the 1st few days of CNY...basically it was/is a CNY not unlike the other years...

This year the family reunion dinner was called off at the eleventh hour as my uncle in Singapore cudnt get the day off (he's a surgeon)...So, our own family, upon coming down from Genting, we went to Crowne Plaza Hotel (previously known as Mutiara) to have our reunion dinner...

The buffet spread was delightful, fusion of east and west, when i mentioned east, i only meant Japanese...:)

at 65++ per pax, i thought it was rather reasonable, as they offer quality food like oyster, salmon, steaks et al.

On 1st day, we have gone back to hometown (bahao) for the family gathering (father's side)...things are pretty much the same, ppl say the same thing, they ask the same question, they do the same stuff, they eat the same food...

the plus side: they remembered my birthday! hehe....i was kinda astonished when a birthday cake appeared from nowhere and then ppl started singing birthday songs...i then asked my cousin who's birthday it was...she was like:i have no idea...at the end of the entire affair, they said it was for me, and i nv realized they remember my lunar birthday....geez...thanks alot ppl...

im most certain my parents havent told them bout it, coz they werent even there when it happened and they were pretty much ignorant of what has taken place...

This year, mom has been generous in our ang pao...a four figure, i suppose she's implying that i should be giving her ang pao next year, since she kept bragging that my elder bro has given her ang pao of AUD3000...sigh....watever...

the entire week has been a fruitful one, was out whole day until the night became ebony...hangout, clubbing and the norms...we sang, we lou sang, we played, we drank, we danced till the night wears out...

still few more days to go before it is over, im hoping to spend more quality time with my parents despite midterms and assignments still going on...they deserve it...
